The onset of the coronavirus crippled the world. In shock, in awe and in fear, we retreated to our homes, coping with isolation, home schooling and no toilet paper. Some of us hunkered down, some worked from home offices. Some binge-watched television, some sang from their balconies and others danced in their driveways. We all shared the same challenges. HBAC decided to ask the question: how did Covid-19 affect your creativity? The call was sent out on social media, inviting artists to show us their replies. The answers were surprising! There were 349 works of art submitted by 201 artists to the Covid-19 Creativity online exhibition. Artists from eleven different countries around the world shared the fruit of their labors during the pandemic. We are delighted to welcome artists from India, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey, Colombia, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Romania, Russia, France and the United States. One third came from members of HBAC’s Artist Council. This surprising response brought a little more shock and a lot of awe into our sphere! We hope you enjoy the show. Kate
