String Theory

This contemporary exhibition features new works by Julia Couzens and Julia Haft-Candell. Both artists use a variety of materials such as thread, tape, twine, rope, porcelain, yarn and scraps of found textiles to create works that engage multiple subjects including narrative and abstraction. The visibly labor-intensive process that each artist employs is evident in both 2D wall works and 3D sculptural works.
