another hand clothing exchangeHBAC Project Room

Come participate in the first ever Another Hand Clothing Exchange in the Project Room.
You have probably heard about the Little Free Library. There is a book on the shelf that you would like, so you take it. In its place, you put a book you have already. Your contribution creates access to literature. Good on you! Another Hand functions similarly, but instead of books, you have clothes. We invite you to look through this inventory of apparel kindly donated by members of the community AND to contribute to the exchange with gently worn clothes of your own. To participate, you simply bring your lightly worn or unworn articles of clothing to the Art Center to exchange for an item that you wish to keep for yourself. If you find a piece you really love but do not have any item to exchange for it, and think you won’t be able to come back to get it, you may consider donating money to an organization promoting sustainability or the arts. Sound like fun? We welcome our eco-warriors, thrifters, and DIYers into the Huntington Beach Art Center Project Room to get this party going! |
