Centered on the Center 2025

ELIGIBILITY
Centered on the Center 2025 is open to 200 artists 18 years or older. Local, regional, and national artists are encouraged to participate.
GUIDELINES
Artwork must be the artist's original print, drawing or painting, sculpture, photography, or video installation. Artwork must not be generated in part nor in whole by artificial intelligence which uses any copyrighted source material. Artists are limited to two submissions of original artwork recently completed.
Work previously exhibited in any HBAC exhibition is ineligible for submission. Large or open print editions, giclées, and seasonal crafts will not be accepted for exhibition. Artwork may not include live animals or decaying organic material.
There will be no negotiation between the artist and HBAC to place the works in a specific place or lit in a certain way. The Preparator will make all decisions as to placement and lighting which will be best for the entire exhibition. HBAC reserves the right to refuse work and terminate online profiles from the HBAC website and social media outlets without cause and exclusively at staff’s discretion.
SUBMISSIONS & RESERVATIONS
The online form will close when 200 artists have registered. Artists are required to complete an online submission form including artist’s name, artwork title, year, medium, measurements, (including frame, if applicable), and retail price (if available for sale) to submit and schedule artwork delivery.
The online submission form opens Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10am for artists to schedule delivery of artworks at the Art Center on January 3, 4 and 6, 2025.
LOAN AGREEMENTS & LABELS
Your online submission will populate the Art Center’s loan agreement and wall labels. Printed copies of the completed loan agreement will be available for artists to review and sign when delivering their artworks. Artworks must be clearly labeled with the artist’s name and artwork title to be accepted by HBAC staff.
