Pain, beauty, and restraint. I wanted to capture the feeling of a beautiful woman, my friend Ivanna, that lives in Tijuana, Mexico, like myself. We both share our sorrows of wishing we would have instead had parents with a home in the states. Instead, we are left to fend for ourselves, figuring out the United States as first-generation Mexican-Americans.
