Surf City Arts Fest 2022Huntington Beach Central Park
October 8, 2022 11am - 4pm Art's Month isn't complete without Huntington Beach Art Center's signature free, family event Surf City Arts Fest! Every October, we celebrate with fine artists, unique hands-on art projects, food vendors, live music, and dance performances. Huntington Beach's Central Park plays host to this year's festival, which has been completely reimagined in the scenic and historic location. Upon entering the park, explore a dozen DIY art projects including printmaking, sculpture, tie-dye, and collage. Continue down the walkway a little further to shop the work of 70 local and regional fine artists. Grab a snack from one of our fabulous food vendors, then boogie and groove to live music and dance performances at the Thomas Ridley Bandstand. Finally, enjoy a guided nature walk through the park's Secret Garden. |

Applications are juried. Not all artists will be accepted.

Entry Rules
All displayed work must be original, artist-made fine art or craft. No mass-produced or manufactured objects will be accepted. No seasonal decorations or crafts will be accepted. Jurying will take place on September 1 & 2. Artists will be notified by email on September 6. Accepted vendors are required to pay a $125/$100 fee which includes a 10' x 10' canopy, one table, and two chairs. Vendors to provide their own displays. Each artist participating must have a current State Seller's Permit to participate. Be prepared to show a copy of your permit at your booth. (More information will be provided in the acceptance notice.) Artists sharing booths must both be accepted by the jury. To pay the discounted Artist Council member price, artists sharing a booth must both be members.
