HBAC offers a wide range of fine art classes year-round for youth and adults taught by professional artists. Using a multidisciplinary educational approach, classes include instruction in drawing, painting, watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography, creative writing, and a variety of movement classes for youth and adults. Information and registration are available at the Art Center front desk and in the Sands Community Services Guide available online.
Ceramics: Parent and Me! You and your child will make memories that last, while also making some fun projects and getting their hands dirty! In this class, students and their guardian will work together to create keepsakes and learn some basic ceramic hand building techniques at the same time. $30 material fee due to instructor at first class.
Acrylic Painting This exciting class will teach students about various types of acrylics, different painting techniques, and using different tools. Students will also learn drawing fundamentals including contour drawing, perspective, shading, proportion, still life, and drawing figures and faces. $20 material fee due to instructor at first class.

Cartooning for Fun! This fun class is for all kids who want to improve their cartoon drawings. Explore the history and making of caricatures, classic cartoons, current cartoons, Manga, and Anime. Stretching for Seniors This class is designed for those who want to bring a little more flexibility and openness to their body through stretching. As we age, our muscles can become tight feeling, and these developing aches and pains can cause us to be less mobile. The more we stretch, the greater chances we will not develop an injury.
